Pancakes with Miss Betty

Rosie was the name of the young ghost who had settled at miss Betty ' s residence. She was originally a homeless little ghost, who floated often from place to place,never managing to settle somewhere long enough. Until she'd found Miss Betty ' s place, the substitute school marm at the Scare school. At first, miss Betty had let her shelter at her place and fed her, as one would a stray animal or bird. But soon the two grew accustomed to their arrangement. Miss Betty resided alone so was more than happy to have another ghost there, and Rosie knew there was no other place she'd rather be. Rosie was a cheeky little thing,  with a mischievous grin and her long hair let lose over her shouoders and a purple t-shirt; at least 14. Although she liked to play pranks on people,she had a kind heart.

One day, when the two bad gone to a diner fir breakfast disguised as fleshies,miss Betty said to her:

"I think it's time you came to school with me. It's a great place for young ghosts, you'll love it."

"School?" Rosie was a little taken aback since she'd never been to school in her after life. She was dressed in her usual purple T-shirt,a pair of jeans and a baseball cap, stuffing her face with pancakes which were drenched in maple syrup. A lot of it was all over her T-shirt.

"Careful now,don't wolf your food down so much," said the ghostly teacher kindly.

"Yes, mom," Rosie rolled her eyes sarcastically. "So yeah, school. I've never been,but I'll give it a try. Let's go!" She was very much excited about the prospect of going to school.

"Alright," replied Miss Betty and got up to pay for the meal. Even as a ghost,she was a law abiding citizen and liked to do things by the rules. The cashier took her money and didn't look up until the two were at the door, then went through it. He stared in horror,then screamed and ran into the kitchen.
